Iron sequestering is a multi level reaction. There exist 2 different types of sequestering which occur. The first is sequestering of iron that is coming into solution from the water source naturally and the second is the iron that is coming into solution from distribution. In either case, SeaQuest will disperse and sequester these types of iron into a colorless state. This means that when SeaQuest is added to the water at the source, water at the tap will be clear regardless of its source color. It also means colorless water regardless of pH level, time that the water has been in use, or the temperature of the water. SeaQuest sequesters iron at a 1:1 ratio. This means that for every part per million of all divalent metals in water, there needs to be one part per million of SeaQuest.
